February has arrived and it’s a fingerless mitten day here in The Homespun Loft. A return of the icy blast reminds me that I should have wrapped up warmer. Just last week it was so mild I thought Spring had arrived early, but the weather had other ideas. The sky is now a gloomy leaden grey, the moors don't look tempting today and the river that runs through the village is high enough to test the ancient bridge. However, a warm fire and hot kettle have provided the perfect excuse to stay indoors, sew and write to you.
This is just my kind of day.
As we've been staying in over the winter months, the Homespun Loft elves have been busy creating some exciting new goodies to share with you. Our handmade collection now includes primitive homespun apples and pears. These would make perfect bowl fillers, such a nice way to display them, or pop one a shelf to make a great addition to your primitive display.
I've taken some photos of a bowlful on my kitchen table, then there's a cute red homespun apple keeping some other prim bits company on my kitchen shelf.
Hope you like the new items in store, I'll be adding more soon so please pop in again and say hello.
As always, I love hearing from you. Please keep in touch and let me know what projects you're working on at the moment.
Until next time, dear homespun friends...
Warm hugs, Charlotte xx
